The investment for the basis of obtaining a temporary residence permit must meet the requirements:

• the amount is equivalent to at least $ 100,000 in currency or precious metals;
• legal origin of funds;

Temporary Certificate Based on Investments in Ukraine: The Procedure and Nuances

The procedure for issuing a temporary residence permit consists of several steps: the investment itself and the investment registration in the Ministry of Economics. The registration process can take about two weeks: while the tax office checks the funds.

If the chosen form of investment creates a company or enterprise, the company is first registered, and the authorized capital of $ 100,000 or more is paid.

And then, to obtain a temporary residence permit, you need to collect the case provided by law.

Temporary Residence Permit: Validity and Renewal Conditions

The document is issued to foreign investors for 2 years. When the validity period expires, it is possible to extend the temporary residence permit – exchange the old document for a new one. But only if the foreigner, in advance, 15 days before the deadline, will prepare a new case and submit it in time for consideration in the territorial body of the LCA. A valid certificate must be presented together with the documents, but only presented – it is necessary to hand it in only when receiving a new one.

In addition to the expiration date, the reason for exchanging certificates may be:

• the decision of the foreigner to change the surname, name or patronymic;
